Night of the Living Dead Game Prototype

The ETC is working with zombie-genre creator George Romero to build a protype for a video game version of his Night of the Living Dead film. I'm making the music. Below are clips, each track written and recorded in a just a few hours to meet a surprise deadline.

Best of Times
|
This was an enormous production. "Best of Times" is the soundtrack I wrote for another one of my computer animated short films about a town an hour before the world ends. I recruited some of the University's finest musicians including the a cappella group The New Dominions, string players, and singer Hope Carlson who, by the way, has an amazing doomsday voice which I pasted over top of herself for the effect of an entire staccato choir section. To create the drums, I beat cardboard boxes and a chair and sampled the result. play clip 1:

Stratagem Main Theme
|
This is my first project scoring for television. Stratagem is a student-produced 8-part drama series which airs on WHOOTV, the University's student-run television station, and broadcasts to the surrounding Charlottesville area. I also made the creepy computer animated "rat cage" opening title sequence for the series. This incidental music is the opening and main theme music for the show. play clip:
